Julian Sancton

Julian Sancton grew up in the United States and France and studied European history at Harvard University. He went on to work as a journalist for publications including Vanity Fair, Esquire, The New Yorker, and Wired. He reported from every continent, including Antarctica, which he first visited while researching his debut book, *Madhouse at the End of the Earth* (German edition: *Irrenhaus am Ende der Welt*).
