Julia Noah Munier

Julia Noah Munier received a doctorate (Dr. phil.) and previously taught and conducted research at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. She was a doctoral fellow in the German Research Foundation’s graduate program “Self-Formations: Practices of Subjectivation in Historical and Interdisciplinary Perspective.” Her research focuses on cultures of remembrance, representations of National Socialism and the Shoah, and gender and queer studies. She also works on visual culture, film theory, gender theory, and theories of subjectivation.
