Julia Krohn

Julia Kröhn was born in Linz, Austria, in 1975. A trained historian, she published numerous novels, many of them historical, sometimes under pseudonyms including Carla Federico and Klara Jahn. Under the name Carla Federico, she received the international CORINE Book Prize in 2010 for »Im Land der Feuerblume«. Among her best-known works is »Das Modehaus«, which became a Top 20 Spiegel bestseller. She also wrote children’s and fantasy novels and worked as a television journalist.
