Julia Korbik

Julia Korbik was born in 1988 in Germany’s Ruhr region and studied European studies, communication studies and journalism in France and Germany. She worked as a freelance journalist and author, publishing on politics and popular culture from a feminist perspective. In 2018, she received the Luise Büchner Prize for Journalism. Her books include *Stand Up. Feminismus für alle*, *Oh, Simone! Warum wir Beauvoir wiederentdecken sollten* and *How to be a Girl. Stark, frei und ganz du selbst*; a graphic novel about Simone de Beauvoir has also been published.
