Judith Visser

Judith Visser was born in Rotterdam and made her literary debut in 2006 with the novel *Tegengif*. Her work won the Best Rotterdam Book award twice. Her novel *Mein Leben als Sonntagskind* reached number five on the Dutch bestseller list and received the Hebban Literatuur Clubprijs in 2018. Visser learned in adulthood that she has Asperger syndrome, an experience connected to her empathetic portrayal of autistic characters.
