Jude Deveraux

Jude Deveraux was born in Kentucky, studied art, and worked as a teacher before becoming a writer. She published more than 70 novels, including 43 New York Times bestsellers. Her books have been translated into 18 languages and have sold more than 60 million copies worldwide. In 2013, she received the Romantic Times Pioneer Award for her career. Many of her romance novels feature the fictional Montgomery and Taggert families; her notable series also include stories about the Chandler twins and the Ascotts.
