Josef Lewkowicz

Josef Lewkowicz lived with his family in Działoszyce near Kraków before the town was attacked by the German Wehrmacht. He subsequently spent three years in six concentration camps. After their liberation, he worked for U.S. Army intelligence, searching for Nazi officials in hiding in Germany and Austria. He later worked as a diamond dealer in South America.
