Josef Lang is a historian and politician. He earned his doctorate at the University of Zurich and served from 1982 to 2011 as a municipal, cantonal and federal parliamentarian representing Zug. Together with Pirmin Meier, he published the dual essay “Kulturkampf. Die Schweiz des 19. Jahrhunderts im Spiegel von heute” (2016).
