Jonny Fischer

Jonny Fischer, born in 1979 in Läufelfingen, Basel-Landschaft, is a Swiss comedian and presenter. After training at the Catholic teacher-training college Sankt Michael in Zug, he worked as a sports and biology teacher at the Rudolf Steiner School in Baar. In 2005, he left teaching to pursue comedy with Manu Burkart. Their duo, Divertimento, performed to sold-out audiences from 2007 onward and won the Prix Walo five times. Fischer also worked as a judge on casting shows and as a presenter on Swiss television.
