Jonathan Lear

Jonathan Lear is a philosopher. He served as John U. Nef Distinguished Service Professor in the Committee on Social Thought and the Department of Philosophy at the University of Chicago and directed the Neubauer Collegium for Culture and Society. Lear received, among other honors, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Distinguished Achievement Award and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
