Jonathan Haidt

Jonathan Haidt is an American social psychologist. He earned his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and taught at the University of Virginia for sixteen years. His academic career also includes New York University, where he taught ethical leadership at the Stern School of Business. Haidt’s research focuses on the psychological foundations of morality, moral emotions, and moral and political beliefs across cultures. His best-known books include *The Righteous Mind*, *The Coddling of the American Mind* (co-written with Greg Lukianoff), and *The Anxious Generation* (2024).
