Jonathan Eig (born 1964) is a journalist and bestselling author. He worked as a special projects reporter for The Wall Street Journal and previously worked for The New York Times and Esquire, among others. His books include biographies of baseball players Jackie Robinson and Lou Gehrig, as well as books about Al Capone, the invention of the birth control pill, Muhammad Ali, and Martin Luther King. His biography of Martin Luther King received the Pulitzer Prize in 2024.
