Jon Lee Anderson

Jon Lee Anderson is an American journalist and author. He grew up in South Korea, Colombia, Taiwan, Indonesia, Liberia, England and the United States. From the 1970s or early 1980s onward, he worked as a war and foreign correspondent, reporting on civil wars and conflicts in regions including Central America, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, for Time and other publications as well as The New Yorker. He wrote a widely recognized biography of Che Guevara, published in German translation in 1997.
