Johny Pitts

Johny Pitts was born in Sheffield and has worked as an author, photographer, television presenter and journalist. He co-founded the online journal “Afropean. Adventures in Black Europe,” which explores Black European identity and culture. Pitts has received several awards for his engagement with an Afropean identity. In 2020, he won the Jhalak Prize for Book of the Year by a Writer of Colour.
