John Walsh

John Walsh is a filmmaker who has received two BAFTA nominations and graduated from the London Film School. He founded Walsh Bros., one of the United Kingdom’s 100 largest production companies. His feature-film debut was “Monarch”; while restoring it, he located the long-lost original negative in a film archive. At the age of 18, Walsh met special-effects and stop-motion artist Ray Harryhausen and made a documentary about his life and work. Walsh’s books include “Harryhausen: The Lost Movies” and “Flash Gordon: The Official Story of the Film,” both of which were nominated for the Rondo Award for Book of the Year.
