John Ousterhout

John Ousterhout is a computer scientist who taught at Stanford University. He led the development of widely used software systems including Raft, Tcl/Tk, Sprite, and Magic, and founded companies of his own. Ousterhout is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and has received honors including the U.C. Berkeley Distinguished Teaching Award.
