John Kaag (born 1981) is a philosopher. His academic career includes a professorship in philosophy at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. His writing has appeared in scholarly journals as well as in major publications such as the New York Times and Harper’s Magazine. His book »American Philosophy: A Love Story« (German edition: »Das Bücherhaus. Eine philosophische Liebesgeschichte«) was named one of the best books of 2016 by National Public Radio, among others.
