Johannes Sich was born in Cologne and grew up between the Rhine and Ruhr regions. He is an illustrator and game developer whose early interests included drawing, stories, games, and puzzles. In 2021, the first installment of his crime-game series, »MicroMacro: Crime City«, was published. The game won the Spiel des Jahres award and received numerous other international honors.
