Johannes Hartl (born 1979) studied German and philosophy and received a doctorate in Catholic theology in 2007. In 2005, he co-founded the Augsburg House of Prayer with his wife; from 2011 onward, continuous prayer was established there. Hartl published numerous books and appeared as an international conference speaker. In his talks and books, he brought together Christian spirituality, philosophy, and psychology.
