Johanna Lindsey

Johanna Lindsey grew up in Hawaii and began writing after marrying and having her first two children. She published her first novel in 1976. She became particularly known for historical romance novels; her books sold more than 60 million copies worldwide and repeatedly reached high positions on the New York Times bestseller list. Lindsey died in October 2019.
