Johanna Klug

Johanna Klug (born 1994) is an author, journalist and trained end-of-life and grief counselor. After many years of experience in hospice and palliative care in Germany and South Africa, she specialized in supporting dying people and leading grief groups for children and adults. She studied media management with a focus on journalism in Würzburg and Groningen, and digital communication in Hamburg and Oslo. From 2019 to 2021, she worked as study coordinator and research associate in the interdisciplinary master’s program “Perimortale Wissenschaften” at the University of Regensburg. Her first book, “Mehr vom Leben,” was published in 2021, followed by “Liebe den ersten Tag vom Rest deines Lebens” in 2022.
