Johan Cruyff

Johan Cruyff (1947–2016) was a Dutch football player and coach. From 1964, he played for Ajax Amsterdam, winning the European Cup three times with the club. With the Netherlands national team, he finished as a World Cup runner-up. At FC Barcelona, he won the Spanish league and cup. As a coach, he led Ajax Amsterdam and later FC Barcelona to become leading European teams. In 1999, Cruyff was named European Footballer of the Century.
