Joerg K. Sommermeyer

Joerg K. Sommermeyer (born 1947 in Brackenheim) is a German lawyer, musician and writer. He studied law, philosophy, German studies, history and musicology, and received classical guitar instruction from Viktor von Hasselmann and Anton Stingl. In the late 1960s and the 1980s, he taught guitar and legal office administration, respectively. From 1976 to 2004, he worked as a lawyer in Freiburg. Alongside his legal career, he published numerous articles on legal and musical subjects, composed songs and instrumental music, and contributed to several music productions. His literary works include Anton Unbekannt and Vernimm mein Schreien. He also edited works by various authors, including Franz Kafka.
