Jochen Greven

Jochen Greven (1932–2012) was a German literary scholar, writer and editor. In 1960, he earned his doctorate with the first German-language dissertation on Robert Walser. From 1966 to 1973, he edited the first complete edition of Walser’s works, followed by a related edition in 1978 and the series »Sämtliche Werke in Einzelausgaben« in 1985–86. After working in book publishing and as a freelance writer, Greven worked from 1975 to 1992 first for Deutschlandfunk and later for Hessischer Rundfunk in Frankfurt.
