Jochen Bauer

Jochen Bauer was born on 5 May 1943 in Frankfurt am Main. After completing his studies, he worked as a teacher and headmaster in Vellmar near Kassel. He first became known for short stories published, among other places, in the Kasseler Sonntagsblatt, Reader’s Digest and Bertelsmann reading booklets. His contributions received numerous awards at the Kassel Literature Exchange. His first novel, “Hexenschüsse,” was published in 2004, followed by “Segenmehlstirnkuss” in 2008.
