Joanne Fedler

Joanne Fedler was born in South Africa and studied law at Yale University. She later emigrated to Australia with her family. She published novels and nonfiction in several genres, with seven of her books translated into German. In her native South Africa, she campaigned for women’s rights and was included in the 2017 list “200 Women Who Will Change the Way You See the World.” Her book “Weiberabend” was her first publication in German and remained on the SPIEGEL bestseller list for more than a year.
