Jo Lendle

Jo Lendle was born in 1968 and studied literature, cultural studies and philosophy in Hildesheim, Montreal and Leipzig. He is a writer and publisher. From 1997 onward, he helped develop the literary programme at DuMont Buchverlag, becoming its publisher in 2010. In 2014, he took over as publisher of the Hanser literary publishing houses. His novels include Die Kosmonautin (2008), Mein letzter Versuch, die Welt zu retten (2009), Alles Land (2011), Was wir Liebe nennen (2013), Eine Art Familie (2021) and Die Himmelsrichtungen (2024). His literary debut appeared in the magazine Edit in 1995.
