Jo Hedwig Teeuwisse

Jo Hedwig Teeuwisse is a Dutch historian. For more than two decades, she studied, taught and researched history, with a particular focus on daily life in medieval Europe and the history of crime. Under the name “The Fake History Hunter,” she drew attention on social media to false historical facts. She also worked as a historical consultant for museums, contributed to documentaries and conducted research for numerous feature films.
