Jilly Cooper

Jilly Cooper was a journalist and author of numerous bestsellers. The universities of Gloucestershire and Anglia Ruskin awarded her honorary doctorates. In 2019, she received the first Comedy Women in Print Award for lifetime achievement. In 2024, she was appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to literature and charity.
