Jette Hopp

Jette Cathrin Hopp is an architect who grew up multilingual, speaking Norwegian, German and Danish. She worked as a director on the management team of the architecture practice Snøhetta, where she led complex projects and competitions in Norway and internationally. Hopp lectured at architecture symposia, conferences and international universities, and served as a jury member for architecture competitions and awards. In 2021, she was appointed president of the jury for the Italian architecture prize. She also served as a member of the board of trustees of the Schelling Architecture Foundation and of the Oslo City Architecture Council. In 2023, she was appointed chair of the Urban Design Advisory Board of the city of Kiel.
