Jessikka Aro

Jessikka Aro (born 1980) is a Finnish journalist. Beginning in September 2014, she investigated the Kremlin’s information warfare and pro-Russian internet trolls. She received the Bonnier Journalism Prize in 2016 and the Courage in Journalism Award in 2020. Her first book, *Putin’s Troll Army*, examines the Kremlin’s information battles on the internet.
