Jessica Schwarz

Jessica Schwarz (born 1977) began her career as a presenter for the music channel Viva and made her film debut in 2001 in “Nichts bereuen.” She became known for roles including Romy Schneider in the television film “Romy” and Tony Buddenbrook in “Buddenbrooks.” She also appeared in films such as “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer,” “Nichts als Gespenster,” “Die Tür,” and “Jesus liebt mich.” Her acting has earned her, among other honors, the Adolf Grimme Award, the Bavarian Film Award, and the 2009 Bambi Award for Best National Actress. She also contributed as a narrator to an audio drama adaptation of Thomas Mann’s “Buddenbrooks.”
