Jessica Pierce

Jessica Pierce is a bioethicist and lecturer at the University of Colorado Denver. Her work addresses human responsibility toward nature and relationships between humans and animals, particularly the human–dog relationship. She co-authored the book “Hunde ohne Menschen” with Marc Bekoff; its German translation was published by Kynos in 2023. She has also written several books about dogs and the philosophy of human–dog relationships.
