Jeremy Rifkin (born 1945) is an American author and social theorist. He founded the Foundation on Economic Trends and served as its chairman. He also worked as an adviser to several governments and taught at the Wharton School. His internationally discussed books include *The End of Work*, *Access*, *The Zero Marginal Cost Society*, *The Global Green New Deal* (2019), and *The Age of Resilience* (2022). His work has been translated into numerous languages and has contributed to debates on social, political, and economic developments.
