Jens Carstens

Jens Carstens was born in 1971 in Radevormwald, North Rhine-Westphalia. He is a musician, composer and producer who studied popular music at the Hamburg University of Music. Carstens has played for artists including Rolf Zuckowski, Rosenstolz, Udo Lindenberg and Tony Christie. He has also worked as a producer and composer, including for Heinz Rudolf Kunze. He began playing the drums and piano at the age of seven. “Quentin Qualle. Die Muräne hat Migräne” marked his debut as a picture-book author.
