Jenny Downham

Jenny Downham, born in Britain in 1964, initially worked as an actress with a touring independent theatre group, performing in venues including youth centres, prisons and clinics. She later turned to writing. Her debut novel, Before I Die, became an international success. Her novel You Against Me was written after she had spent years caring for her mother.
