Jelena Kostyuchenko (born 1987) is a Russian investigative journalist. She worked for the independent newspaper Novaya Gazeta from the age of 17, reporting on political repression and corruption as well as the lives of marginalized people. Her subjects included striking workers, homeless people, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ activists. Kostyuchenko was among the first journalists to write about Pussy Riot. Her work has received several awards, including the Gerd Bucerius Prize for Press Freedom in Eastern Europe, the European Press Prize, and the Paul Klebnikov Civil Society Fellowship.
