Jeffrey Archer

Jeffrey Archer (born in London in 1940) spent his childhood in Weston-super-Mare and studied at Oxford. Before pursuing a career as a writer, he was active in politics. He gained international recognition with the novel *Kane and Abel*. His notable works also include the historical series *The Clifton Chronicles* and *The Warwick Saga*. Archer ranks among England’s most successful bestselling authors.
