Jean Sasson

Jean Sasson is an author known for books about the lives of Arab women. Her best-known works include “Ich, Prinzessin aus dem Hause Al Saud” and “Mayada – Tochter des Irak.” She first traveled to Iraq in 1998, where she met Mayada al-Askari, who worked as her interpreter. Their friendship led to the collaboration on “Mayada – Tochter des Irak,” a book about Mayada’s experiences and imprisonment.
