Jean Kyoung Frazier

Jean Kyoung Frazier, born in 1993, grew up in Torrance, California, as the daughter of a Korean immigrant. She initially studied business at the University of Southern California before switching to English. She later earned a master’s degree in creative writing from Columbia University in New York. Frazier works as a writer. Among her early passions were rap and basketball, which she described as important sources of inspiration for her writing.
