Jason Stanley (born 1969) is a philosopher and academic. He has worked, among other institutions, at Yale University. His scholarship has addressed epistemology, philosophy of language, linguistics, cognitive science, fascism, and propaganda. His books include *Know How*, *Knowledge and Practical Interests*, *How Propaganda Works*, and *How Fascism Works*. *Knowledge and Practical Interests* received a book award from the American Philosophical Association, while *How Propaganda Works* received the PROSE Award for Philosophy from the Association of American Publishers. *How Fascism Works* has been translated into 23 languages.
