Jasmina Kuhnke

Jasmina Kuhnke (born 1982 in Hagen) is a German writer, actress, television writer and columnist. Her debut novel, *Schwarzes Herz*, became a bestseller. The semi-autobiographical book recounts experiences of racism while she was growing up on the outskirts of Germany’s Ruhr region in the 1990s. Kuhnke also worked as a writer on the series *Andere Eltern* and on a racism-focused special of *The Carolin Kebekus Show*, which received the Grimme Award. Beyond her artistic work, she has been active in opposing racism and discrimination. In 2021, she founded the SHEROES Fund. She has also appeared publicly under the stage name Quattromilf.
