Janka Kluge

Janka Kluge was born in Stuttgart in 1959. She worked as a journalist and editor for various media outlets. In 1981, following the introduction of Germany’s Transsexuals Act, she founded one of the country’s first self-help groups for trans people. She also lectured on trans identity.
