Jana Walczyk

Jana Walczyk (born 1989) studied design and illustration at Münster University of Applied Sciences, the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna, and HAW Hamburg, where she completed a master’s degree in 2017. She subsequently worked as a freelance illustrator and illustrated numerous children’s and nonfiction books, including works focused on communicating knowledge. Her first children’s book was published in 2017; Schau mal, eine Schnecke! is described as her debut in nonfiction for children.
