Jan von der Bank

Jan von der Bank is a novelist and screenwriter. His books include the novel »Die Farbe der See« and the children’s book »Die 7 magischen Klabauterknoten«, his first book for children. As a screenwriter, he wrote films for television series including »Tatort«, »Küstenwache«, »Bella Block« and »Der Alte«. He is also closely associated with sailing: he crossed the Atlantic aboard the »Gorch Fock« and became world champion in the Contender one-person sailing dinghy.
