Jan Vermeer

Jan Vermeer is a Dutch professional photographer. He has visited more than fifty countries, including Antarctica, Iceland, the Congo, Namibia and Aldabra Atoll in the Indian Ocean. His photographs have received awards in renowned competitions such as the BBC Wildlife of the Year Contest. A project on fungi was published internationally, including in National Geographic, BBC Wildlife Magazine and Focus.
