Jan Reiser

Jan Reiser (born 1978 in Tegernsee, Germany) studied communication design at the Munich University of Applied Sciences, graduating with a degree in communication design. He worked as a freelance illustrator, comic artist and caricaturist. His work encompassed editorial, fantasy and children’s book illustration; he also published numerous comics and books and contributed to the Süddeutsche Zeitung. His published work included the illustrations for Tom Sawyer als Detektiv (2011) and Tom Sawyers abenteuerliche Ballonfahrt (2012). Reiser was introduced to drawing at an early age by his father, Hans Reiser, a caricaturist and fine artist.
