Jan Niggemann

Jan Niggemann is an educational scientist. He studied educational science, sociology and modern history at Freie Universität Berlin and completed a doctorate in educational science at Goethe University Frankfurt. He subsequently worked as a postdoctoral research associate in the field of educational theory and school research at the University of Graz. His research interests have included educational theory, pedagogical authority and authorization, and the transformation of education in the context of social inequality. He has also worked as a political educator on authoritarianism, hegemony, emotions and affects, classism and education.
