Jan Manus Leupert

Jan Manus Leupert was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1984 and taught himself Japanese. He traveled extensively in Japan and worked, among other roles, for a major Japanese hotel chain and as a concert agent for Japanese artists. His passion for Japanese literature led him to translation. He translated works by, among others, Jun’ichirō Tanizaki and Ryū Murakami into German.
