Jan Henrik Dirks

Jan Henrik Dirks received a doctorate in theatre studies from Seoul National University. He has taught at Gachon University and the Literature Translation Institute of Korea and translates novels and nonfiction. In 2015, he received the Daesan Literary Award for his translation of Jung Young Moon’s novel Vaseline Buddha.
